What’s it like to interview here?

This might be your first big interview, or you might already have a few under your belt. Either way, it can seem daunting. But the message from our trainees? Relax and enjoy the day, because even if you think things are going wrong, your interviewers are on your side, wanting you to do well.

I was so distracted en route to the building, I stepped right in the stream outside. My interviewer came to greet me, and all I could think about was that my foot was soaking wet.

I remember on my interview day, one of the receptionists brought me a bar of chocolate with a Post-It note attached – it had a smiley face on it and it said ‘Don’t panic.

I was pretty nervous, but you just have to ease into it, figure out what the gist of the day is going to be, and throw yourself into it – even if you find it intimidating initially.

Accessibility and adjustments

We want our applications to be open to everyone, so if you have a disability – even if you’re not sure what adjustments you might need – all you need to do is get in touch with us. You can do that either by email or phone:

Email: graduate.recruitment@nortonrosefulbright.com
Telephone: 020 7444 2113

We have the Disability Two Ticks symbol from Jobcentre Plus for our proactive approach to employing those with disabilities, so please don’t worry about disclosing anything you need to – it won’t affect your application in any way.

We also operate the Guaranteed Interview Scheme if you meet our minimum criteria; both academic and competency. What’s important to note here is that when we consider your application, we don’t rely on your academic records: we’ll also look at your competencies, achievements and skills.
